Kata
Different styles of karate have different kata. There are sometimes many different versions of the same kata. Just because a kata looks and feels different from one that you know it should be remembered that kata is open to interpretation and this means it might not necessarily be wrong. However, what ever your style, kata contains everything you need to know about karate. You could almost liken it to DNA, within kata the old masters placed all the techniques, you just need to unravel it and understand it.
